Turning ability into measurable impact

Grippy® Bionic Hand

Grippy® restores everyday function while connecting rehabilitation data to outcomes you can actually track. It’s designed for comfort, quick adoption, and program-level visibility—so beneficiaries succeed and funders see real results.

Tech used

  • MMG-based sensing (Mechanomyography): Captures muscle vibration signals for reliable intent detection, even when EMG is noisy or impractical.

  • Adaptive multi-grip control: Natural, task-based grips with on-device learning for smoother use.

  • Lightweight, durable build: Engineered for daily wear with serviceable components.

  • Ecosystem integration: Works with BrawnBand for baseline muscle data, gamified rehab for engagement, and the Impact Dashboard for real-time, anonymized metrics.

The problem it solves

Grippy® solves the biggest barriers in prosthetic adoption: difficult training, poor comfort, and lack of real-world follow-up. It helps users learn faster, stay engaged, and rely on the hand daily. For programs and CSR teams, it replaces guesswork with trackable progress, rehab alignment, and clear evidence of long-term impact.

  • For users: Complex tech, hard training, and poor comfort lead to rejection—Grippy® focuses on ease, fit, and faster confidence.

  • For clinics/NGOs: Fragmented tools and follow-up—Grippy® ties diagnosis → rehab → usage into one loop.

  • For CSR teams: Case studies aren’t enough—Grippy® programs surface trackable S-ROI (progress, adherence, and economic participation signals).

How Grippy® is different

Grippy® stands apart by focusing on real-world use, not just hardware. Its sensor-ready control, intuitive multi-grip function, and guided onboarding make adoption faster and more reliable. It integrates with rehab, tracks anonymized usage, and supports measurable S-ROI, giving users better function and programs clear evidence that traditional prosthetics simply can’t deliver.

MMG vs. EMG-only

MMG systems offer greater resilience to electrical noise, variations in skin preparation, and electrode placement issues compared to EMG-only setups. Because MMG sensors measure mechanical muscle vibrations rather than electrical activity, they are less affected by sweat, skin impedance, or external interference.

This makes them more stable and reliable in real-world conditions. Additionally, MMG provides improved comfort for users during longer training or monitoring sessions, as it requires minimal skin contact and is less intrusive than traditional EMG electrodes.

Adoption First

Grippy® prioritizes user adoption because consistent engagement is the strongest predictor of real-world outcomes. The ecosystem combines gamified rehabilitation with a dedicated patient app to keep users motivated, informed, and actively involved in their progress. Interactive challenges, visual feedback, and personalized goals turn routine exercises into an engaging experience, significantly improving adherence.

By making daily use enjoyable and easy to track, the system supports better long-term recovery, higher satisfaction, and measurable functional improvements.

Data You Can Use

Grippy® provides live, anonymized progress data and usage trends that give organizations meaningful insight into how their assistive solutions perform in the real world. Instead of relying on basic distribution metrics like “hands delivered,” partners can track actual engagement, functional improvements, and adherence patterns.

These measurable outcomes map directly to SDG and ESG reporting frameworks, enabling evidence-based impact reporting and demonstrating genuine, long-term value for users and communities.

BrawnBand

BrawnBand is a smart muscle-activation and rehabilitation device designed specifically for amputees. Using gentle, controlled EMS stimulation and guided routines, it strengthens the residual limb, improves circulation, and prepares the body for smoother prosthetic training and long-term use.

Muscle Diagnostic Kit

Brawnband is used for preliminary muscle analysis of patients, also acts a gamified strength training tool used by patients to increase their muscle strength) – Under Pilot Testing.

BrawnBand is a smart muscle-activation and rehabilitation device designed specifically for amputees. Using gentle EMS stimulation and guided routines, it strengthens the residual limb, improves circulation, and prepares the body for smoother prosthetic training and long-term use. It brings clinic-grade conditioning into a simple, portable tool that users can rely on daily.

The Problem Solver

After amputation, residual limb muscles often weaken, stiffen, or stop activating correctly, which can cause persistent discomfort, reduced circulation, poor prosthetic fitment, and high rejection rates. BrawnBand addresses these challenges by re-activating essential muscle groups, calming nerve discomfort, and progressively rebuilding strength at an early stage of rehabilitation.

This improves limb readiness, enhances comfort, and supports faster prosthetic adaptation. By closing the critical conditioning gap most users struggle with, BrawnBand makes the prosthetic journey smoother and more reliable.

How BrawnBand Is Different

Unlike generic EMS devices, BrawnBand is purpose-built specifically for amputee rehabilitation. It focuses on precise residual-limb muscle activation using safe, clinician-designed preset routines that are easy to follow at home. Integrated with the Robo Bionics training ecosystem, it ensures continuity from rehabilitation to prosthetic use.

While most EMS tools are limited to clinic settings, BrawnBand provides targeted, affordable, at-home conditioning that improves limb readiness, accelerates prosthetic adaptation, and increases long-term prosthetic success.

WeightBand

WeightBand is a rehabilitation tool paired with a game-based training system that helps patients strengthen residual-limb muscles and safely improve weight-handling capacity. It is currently under pilot testing.

Reshaping Prosthetics

WeightBand is a rehabilitation tool paired with a game-based training system that helps patients strengthen residual-limb muscles and safely improve weight-handling capacity. It transforms repetitive rehab routines into engaging, measurable progress, making early recovery and prosthetic readiness smoother for amputees.

Currently under pilot testing, WeightBand is already showing promising signs of improving muscle activation, confidence, and overall participation during the rehab journey. Early feedback highlights how interactive challenges make therapy feel less like a task and more like a rewarding experience, encouraging patients to stay consistent and motivated.

Proud to keep building solutions that make rehabilitation more accessible, more motivating, and more effective—helping individuals rebuild strength, independence, and trust in their recovery journey.

Rehab Connect

Why Rehab Connect?

People don’t reject prosthetics.
They reject the lack of support that comes after.

Rehab Connect solves the biggest gaps in amputee care:

  • No reliable way to find verified rehab clinics
  • Inconsistent follow-up after prosthetic fitment
  • Difficulty tracking muscle progress, adherence, and usage
  • Clinics lacking structured tools for long-term patient support

Rehab Connect turns all of these pain points into one connected, guided experience.
